Nicole Skufca

MA.E.d., LPCC-S, MFT

Nicole is a graduate of the Marriage and Family Therapy program at The University of Akron. She is a licensed profession clinical counselor and supervisor, and licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Ohio. She works with individuals, couples, and families ages 5 and up.

In her own words:

Life is a book filled with many chapters: some good and some bad. While difficult stories come with every novel, therapy can help you rewrite the events of life that have left a negative impact on your current and daily functioning. I have the tools to assist you in re-authoring your life through the power of storytelling. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) and Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) with over seven years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families of all ages navigate life's challenges. I am compassionate and warm, and work hard to create a safe, inclusive space for healing.

I ground myself in theories of experiential, narrative, solution-focused, and emotion-focused therapy. Whether supporting individuals, couples and families in managing anxiety, improving relationships, or overcoming past trauma, I am dedicated to facilitating growth and healing through collaborative, client-centered care.

I am delighted to support clients in separating themselves from problem-saturated stories and reconnecting with their strengths, values, and preferred narratives. If you're ready to become the main character of your life again and re-author your story, the best way to reach me is by filling out the Contact Form on our website.
